Improving Workplace Performance and Emotional Wellbeing
Traditionally, companies have relied on the use of IQ testing and personality profiling to assess potential or existing employees. Very few companies have considered Emotional Intelligence (EQ) assessment and improvement facilitation as an alternative means of improving workplace performance.
Although IQ and Personality have been linked to workplace success by many scientific studies over the last century, both measurements are static, meaning that they do not change much – if at all – over time. On the other hand, EQ is dynamic, meaning that it can be improved by means of continuous development and on-going assessment. Furthermore, there is no correlation between the three measurements of IQ, Personality and EQ, so it is impossible to predict one based on another.
